Help us inspire more Queensland communities through STEM.
Inspiring Australia Queensland (IAQ) is working to meet the challenges of our future, contributing to the Australian Government’s vision for an Australian society engaged in and enriched by science.
Founded in 2010, we are a vital link in Australia’s science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM) ecosystem – a crucial pillar in the national Inspiring Australia strategy to improve the communication, appreciation and understanding of scientific knowledge in Australia.
Every gift is meaningful.
Your support would enable us to ensure more young Queenslanders are engaging with STEM. You could help us to increase the number of regional STEM hubs across Queensland, raise the number of IAQ ambassadors that travel to regional and rural areas to inspire students and enable more seed grant availability for National Science Week.
IAQ facilitates diverse and inclusive Queensland-based activities and grants that increase interest in Australian science, improve critical engagement with key scientific issues, spark inspiration and elevate the value of science.
Regional STEM Hubs are open in Cairns, Rockhampton, Townsville, Gympie, Gladstone and Toowoomba to nurture community collaboration and grassroots science engagement including citizen science, but we need your help to grow these to new communities.
The difference you can make
Donate $40 to represent adding 4 new regional STEM Hubs in Queensland.
Donate $100 to represent 5 Queensland researchers engaging communities with groundbreaking research.
Donate $1000 to represent STEM engagement activities and events designed for traditionally underrepresented groups in Queensland.
