The Queensland Commitment Staff Scholarship is a dedicated fund for UQ staff to make a difference in the lives of students who need our support.
A donation to this fund will not only help more Queensland students gain a tertiary education, but also contribute to a more prosperous Queensland.
The Queensland Commitment is our pledge of support and opportunity for all Queensland students – minimising the barriers they face to attaining a tertiary education. We will do this by increasing our community presence and partnerships, widening opportunities for entry, enhancing scholarships, embedding equity in teaching and learning, and providing appropriate support to foster success for all students.

“I hope to be a primary school teacher. I want to make a difference in young people’s lives and set them up for future success like how the YAP Scholarship has helped me,” Almira said.
“Receiving a scholarship may be the make-or-break for someone considering attending university or trying to continue their studies. No matter how much you donate, each dollar counts. One’s future becomes clearer without financial obstacles.”
