Unlocking matched funding
For UQ Giving Day 2023 The Queensland Commitment and other scholarships were eligible to receive matched funding from the University as part of our goal to break down educational disadvantage for Queensland students aspiring to study at UQ.
The incredible efforts made by the community for UQ Giving Day 2023 unlocked over $80,000 in matched funding by The University of Queensland to support these endowed, financial-hardship scholarships:
- The Queensland Commitment
- The Queensland Commitment Staff Scholarship
- Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Scholarship
- JD Adams Memorial Residential Scholarship
- Morrells' Scholarship for First Generation of Aspiring Teachers
- St John's College Residential Scholarship
to our matching COMMUNITY DONORS
